Beads Unlimited Studio was opened in November 2004 because of my love of beads and the totally creative aspect of combining the vast selection of these addicting little gems into a beautiful works of art. It’s amazing how many others have this same addiction! I think mine came from playing in my Mom’s button tin – I was always fascinated by the variety, entrancing colors and the calm feeling I had with her buttons in my little hands! I dabbled with many other crafts over the years, but working full-time prevented a true commitment to any particular area. My daughter-in-law ended up handing over her stash of beads to me when she became pregnant for my first grandson and that was the beginning of a new adventure for me.
The store has evolved in the past 5 years, but the one constant factor has been providing the best quality merchandise at the most reasonable prices to beginners or seasoned beaders.
I’m very proud that we’ve been able to keep prices on our staple items within reason and keep the same quality products available. Our Czech seed bead hanks and crystals are still at the same price points and our glass bead assortments are renowned. Sorting thru the trays is like a treasure hunt for that special, perfect bead and the price is fantastic!
We get so much satisfaction from helping customers save and fix broken pieces of treasured jewelry. So many times these are family pieces or a special gift from a loved one that would sit unworn without a little facelift. Usually the process is minimal and even at times one treasured piece can be re-made into many pieces that can be shared by siblings.
